Where To Watch The NBA All-Star Game Online Free
The NBA All-Star basketball weekend has arrived, so make a fast break to your computer to watch the NBA All-Star Game online for free. TNT will be streaming all of the marquee events of All-Star weekend from Houston, Texas free of charge, so you can watch the NBA All-Star Game live on Sunday, February 17, 2013. That’s not all, as TNT will also carry live streams of Saturday’s Slam Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest, Alicia Keys’ half-time performance on Sunday night, and all of the must-see events of the 2013 NBA All-Star weekend.
The actual 2013 NBA All-Star Game is Sunday night, February 17, at 8 p.m. EST. There is plenty of action all weekend long. On Saturday, the All-Star Saturday Night line-up featuring the Slam Dunk Contest and Three-Point Contest will kick off at 8:30 p.m. EST. Friday night’s “rookies and sophomores” Rising Stars Challenge game tips off at 9 p.m. EST just after the All-Star Celebrity game, which starts at 7 p.m. EST. Save And Watch Your Favorite NBA All-Star Videos
When Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and the greatest basketball players in the world suit up for the 2013 NBA All-Star Game, you’ve got free front row seats with NBA TNT Overtime – the site that lets you watch NBA games online for free. NBA TNT Overtime streams most of the NBA games broadcast on the cable network TNT, and they’re streaming the biggest events on All-Star Weekend, including the All-Star Game itself. NBA TNT Overtime will debut a new HD version of their “mosaic view” video player allowing you to play up to four different camera angles simultaneously, or go full-screen with your preferred camera angle. Online viewers don’t get the instant replays shown to TV viewers, but Internet viewers can rewind the action with a DVR-style “slider” at the bottom of the video player, providing a second look at the most spectacular slam dunks and blocked shots.
Alicia Keys won rave reviews for her rendition of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, and she’ll follow that up with the half-time show during Sunday night’s All-Star Game. Ne-Yo brings some additional star power to All-Star Weekend with a pre-game performance Sunday night, while John Legend will sing the National Anthem. All of these will be part of Sunday night’s free NBA All-Star Game live stream, as well as the reliable play calls of Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, and Reggie Miller.
WATCH 2013 NBA ALL-STAR GAME LIVE SLAM DUNK CONTEST
Charles Barkley fans can get in the game online as well. Sir Charles will provide his illustrious (and frequently off-color) analysis live to the NBA 2013 Slam Dunk Contest, along with his also highly-opinionated co-announcers Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny “The Jet” Smith. The Slam Dunk Contest is the final event of the All-Star Saturday night, beginning Saturday, February 16 at 8:30 p.m. EST, and can be seen online for free on NBA TNT Overtime.
Internet viewers can also go downtown with the Three-Point Contest, scheduled right before the Slam Dunk Contest Saturday night. Reggie Miller and Kenny Smith will call that portion of Saturday night’s festivities, as well as the Skills Challenge scheduled for earlier in the broadcast.
The NBA has even found a way to make Friday night’s Rising Stars Challenge more interesting – Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal are managing the teams. When the NBA’s top rookie and sophomore players face off, Shaq will manage one team while Barkley manages the other, so you can expect the refs to whistle those characters for a few technical fouls. The Rising Stars Challenge is the main event Friday night, February 15, with a live stream beginning at 9 p.m. EST.
NBA ALL-STAR GAME 2013 ON MOBILE DEVICES
The NBA has introduced a new mobile app for NBA All-Star Weekend for iPhone, iPad, and Android devices, but unfortunately it will not provide live video of the All-Star Game. The only contest being carried live on mobile devices is Friday night’s All-Star Celebrity Game, scheduled for Friday, February 15 at 7 p.m. EST. However, there will be plenty of updates available on the app including live score, top stories, and more. Plus, app users and provide app users can vote for the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge MVP, Sprite Slam Dunk champion and the Kia NBA All-Star MVP.
Sprint customers, however, will be able to watch NBA All-Star Game on their mobile device by downloading the NBA Game Time app. Plus, anyone with an active cable TV subscription can see the game through the WatchESPN app. The All-Star Celebrity Game pits NBA All-Stars James Harden and Russell Westbrook against one another as captains of celebrity teams featuring Ne-Yo and Trey Songz, plus Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt, U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, and others.
Who are your picks for the All-Star MVP, Slam Dunk Contest, and Three-Point Contest winners? Will Charles Barkley’s mouth get him into more trouble this year? And what the heck is the U.S. Secretary of Education doing in a celebrity basketball game? Take it to the rim with your opinions in the comments section below.
